Abstract
SYMBOLIC PANORAMA OF HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN TALES
The article talks about the works of the famous Danish fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen. In this study, the symbolism aspects of Andersen tales are discussed. In the introduction part of the article, information about the current of symbolism, its benefit and its representatives is given. Later, symbols were compiled and divided into sections such as death-life, dark-light, swamp and object concepts. In addition, examples of fairy tales are given in the study and the concepts are compared with real life.
All concepts are analyzed religiously, philosophically, psychologically and literally. In addition to works such as "The Snow Queen ", "The Red Shoes", "The Little Match Girl", "The Pine Tree", "The Steadfast Tin Soldier", theoretical studies on the subject were also included. The main characters in the works were interpreted polemically with mythological characters and analyzed through fairy tale samples. All concepts are systematically listed in the study.
