Abstract

A CRITICAL OVERVIEW OF THE MODERN KYRGYZ LITERATURE AND A CLASSIFICATION TRIAL

Modern Kyrgyz literature emerged as a part of Soviet literature in the 1920s and continued its existence by adhering to the understanding of Socialist realism that formed and shaped Soviet literature. II. During and after the World War, the situation was further enhanced by Soviet teachings. The years of 1960 and 1970 are considered as the years when the USSR reached its peak in terms of both administrative and economic welfare. Irish literature scientists and critics also state that the Soviet Kyrgyzstan was a part of the change in the USSR in the 10-year period after the war, that it was developing socio-economically, and that the Kyrgyz culture was experiencing a significant development, thus reaching a new level in terms of cultural development. However, between 1980-1985 the USSR entered a different atmosphere. The USSR started to lag behind the developing and changing world. Democratization efforts were unsuccessful in 1985 and after the restructuring began, and the current crisis deepened. The views of Cengiz Aytmatov about the situation and exit from the crisis both in the USSR and Kyrgyzstan in the 1980s, his statements to the newspapers played an important role in the development of national consciousness in Kyrgyzstan. After gaining independence, there was an opportunity to publish works that writers and poets could not publish in previous years. From the first years of the 21st century, modern Kyrgyz literature has begun to take shape by capturing a process that is in line with the spirit of the new era and where national feelings are also processed.
