It is not easy for anyone to abandon the religious behaviour of their ancestors. This approach went on in the past; and it is still alive today. Older generations usually expect younger ones to accept customs that are supported with positive innovations, apart from negative ones, and keep their culture and civilization alive. They are expected to accept the religion introduced by the prophet and abandon the faulty approach of religion of their ancestors. Getting used to such approaches is hard. From Prophet Adam to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), no prophet could persuade public to accept the new religion right away. People stood their grounds due to the reason they "found their ancestors in this way and it shall go on unchanged." One might easily call it "fear of the introduction of a new religion"; and this fear has gradually turned into hatred and violence against prophet and his followers. As a result, they suffered great tortures on the way to spread the word of Allah. No matter the title; whether it is hatred against religion or Islamaphobia, people always feared the religions they were introduced to and such fear then turned into hatred, violence and racism. Opressed Muslims all around the world, arson of mosques, and Islamaphobists driving right at Muslims and targeting them are clear signs of the said hatred. In this study, the concept of Islam to be as old as the first man Prophet Adam will be defended in opposition to the misconceptions that Islamaphobia is nearly 30 years old and it dates back to the foundation Islamic Republic in Andalus. The public reaction against the prophets since Prophet Adam will be studied in a religious context. Public fear of prophets and the new religions they introduce in each historical period; attacks, slanders and libels will be studied within the frame of Islamaphobia. Verses and hadiths will be utilized to explain the concepts further.
