Molla Ceevan al-Lacknowiy lived during the reign of Babur's in İndia, He is a scholar who has taken an important place among Indian scholars. Although he is one of the famous scholars of the Hanafi school, he was not limited to only the Hanafi school but he was an expert in other schools. Due to the fact that he was a very famous scientist, he made great contributions to Islamic sciences and especially to the Sunni school. Molla Ceevan, who gained position and reputation among the scholars of India with his knowledge, during his pilgrimages he stayed in Makkah Mukarramah and gave lectures there for a long time. Molla Ceevan, who became famous in Asia and Arabia during his lifetime, he wrote extensive works in various fields such as Sufism, Fiqh and Tafseer. The works that he wrote became famous among the Muslims who lived in Russia in the 19th century. His Tafseer et-Tefsîrâtü’l-Ahmediyye fî beyâni’l-âyâti’ş-şer’iyye ma’a ta’rîfâti’l-mesâ’ili’l-fıkhiyye was published by Kharitonov's publishing house in Kazan, Russia, in 1904, and It was taught in madrasas for years. This study will present the mentioned Tafseer by Molla Ceevan. The method used in his interpretation will be examined from various aspects.
