Mu‘allakalar are poems belonging to Arabs that were put forward in the period of Ignorance before Islam. These poems are regarded as the cornerstones and most important works of Arabic Literature. It is rumored that Mu‘allaka were read in big fairs such as Ukâz during the period of Jahiliyya and that the poems that were ranked were hung on the wall of the Kaaba. In this study, the content of Arabic literature poetry in the period of Jahiliyya and in particular, among the poets of Mu'allaka, after İmru'ulkays, Tarafe b. Information about the life, personality and content of al-‘Abd's poems will be given. My goal in this work that I have done is to bring this important poet of the Arab world to the agenda and present his life to the world of knowledge.
